How to Order
We offer four convenient ways to place your order: 

1. Online

Visit our online store and use our secure shopping cart to place your order. It's easy, and it's available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Ordering online may also entitle you to special discounts and Internet offers.

PayPal is used to process credit cards for our online store. The following major credit cards are accepted: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card.

2. By Fax

Send a fax (available 24 hours a day) to the attention of Customer Service at 1-801-516-0639.

3. By Mail

Download and complete the Order Form (PDF), and mail it to AvScholars Publishing, LLC. at the address below.

Note: Returned Check Policy
We understand that a check can be returned to us for a variety of reasons. We will make an attempt to clear up a returned check within the first 10 days.

It is the policy of AvScholars to charge a $25.00 fee for checks returned to us.

If a returned check is not cleared up within 2 weeks it will be turned over to a credit collection agency for collection.

About The Scholarship Workbook The Scholarship Workbook is divided into four chapters:
•	Chapter 1 –Financial Aid Basics Chapter 1 will help you understand the basics of financial aid and how the financial aid process works.
•	Chapter 2 –The Workbook Chapter 2 will help you identify and document information about yourself and your family to identify, search, and apply for scholarship.
•	Chapter 3–Scholarship & Financial Aid Sources Chapter 3 will help you identify various sources (i.e. organizations, clubs, etc.) that offer scholarships and grants to students pursuing a higher education.
•	Chapter 4–Completing the Scholarship Application Chapter 4will help you complete your scholarship application(s) in a timely fashion and keep your stress level to a minimum.

Purchase Orders (POs)

• You can attach the PO to a mailed or faxed order form, order by phone, or order online.
  
  
• If you order with a PO number online, make sure to enter your institution's name in the appropriate blank on the form. Please do not send an additional or duplicate copy by mail or FAX.
  
• First-time customers using POs may be subject to a credit review. You may be contacted prior to the processing of your order.

Checks and Money Orders

• Checks and money orders are not accepted for online orders.
  
  
• Make checks and money orders payable to AvScholars Publishing, LLC.
  
  
• Payment must always be in U.S. dollars, and all checks must be drawn on a U.S. bank.
  
  
• Please add appropriate shipping and handling charges. See our complete list of shipping options and rates for more information and shipping options.
  
  
• Illinois orders add 8.25% sales tax.

Sales Tax
As required by Illinois State law, all orders placed by residents of the state of Illinois will be charged a 8.25% sales tax. (Shipping and handling charges are not subject to tax.)

If you are a educational institution, school, or non-profit organization, and have a tax exemption number, please supply it when you place your order. (We include a field on our online order form for this purpose).

Ordering Online Is Safe

We take the utmost care with the information you provide when you place an order on our web site (or by any other means!).

PayPal is used for our online shopping cart to process credit card payments. PaYPal encrypts the transmission of all credit card and personal customer information using the Internet-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol, from end to end. (When you're on a secure page, the lock icon at the bottom of Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer is locked.)

During the encryption process, information is scrambled into small bits of code that cannot be read as they travel to us over the internet.

Once we receive your order, all of your information is restricted in our offices, and we keep all of our employees up-to-date with our security and privacy practices. For more details, please see our privacy policy.

Shipping & Handling
AvScholars ships throughout the United States and Canada. Shipments to post office boxes, Hawaii, Alaska and all U.S. territories are shipped Priority Mail throughout the United States (P.O Boxes, Hawaii, Alaska and all U.S. territories) via the U.S. Postal Service.

The following shipping and handling charges apply:
First Book - $5.95 (US Priority Mail)
Add $2 for each additional book ordered

Estimated Total Delivery Time
Delivery time is based on both the item availability, 1–2 days processing time, and the shipping option you selected. Please use the following equation for determining your estimated delivery time.

For example, many items on our site 'Ship Immediately'. If you select US Postal – Priority Mail, for example, your shipping time will be 1 to 4 business days, depending on where you live. This means your total delivery time will be 1-2 day (availability and processing) + 1 to 4 days (shipping time). So you can expect to receive this item 2 to 6 business days after you place your order.

Additional Processing Information
Express orders placed before 2 PM Central Time are processed and shipped that same day; express orders placed after 2 PM Central Time, will ship the following day.

International Shipments and Customs
Currently, online orders are processed exclusively in the United States and Canada.

Pre-Orders and Backorders
A pre-order or backorder is an order placed while a book is in press or while a book is in the process of being reprinted.

If you place an order for a book in press, you may not receive the book for several months. (You can check a book's availability date by finding its page in the online store.)

If you have chosen to pay for the book by credit card or with a purchase order, your account won't be charged until we ship the book. But what if the price of the book goes up in the meantime?

Not to worry: All titles you order will be billed at the price prevailing at the time your order is received. That means that if the price of the book in press goes up after you've ordered it, you'll still be billed at the lower price.
